AlabamaAL Off-Premises Responsible Serving®
The Alabama Alcoholic Beverage Control Board has approved PSCC as a Responsible Vendor Program (RVP) training provider. To get your license(s) certified in the Responsible Vendor Program, you will have to initially train all your employees, then submit your paperwork. After your license(s) is certified in the RVP, new employees must be trained within 30 days.

Signing up a company for PSCC's RVP is a simple process. Just add the employer account to your cart and pay the $95 set-up fee. For this set-up fee, PSCC will help you customize the course with your establishment policies and you can begin training your employees online for only $9.98 per employee. After all your employees are trained, PSCC will also assist you in submitting the required documentation to the Alabama ABC Board and send your policy sign posters in the mail.
AL On-Premises Responsible Serving®
The Alabama Alcoholic Beverage Control Board has approved PSCC as a Responsible Vendor Program (RVP) training provider. To get your license(s) certified in the Responsible Vendor Program, you will have to initially train all your employees, then submit your paperwork. After your license(s) is certified in the RVP, new employees must be trained within 30 days.

NOTE: If you work within 50 miles of a community where live classroom training is offered at least once a month, your certificate for this online course will not be valid and you need to take live classroom training.

California Off-Premises Responsible Serving® of Alcohol
The Rserving® Off-Premises Responsible Serving® of Alcohol course has been APPROVED as part of California's Responsible Beverage Server (RBS) program for alcohol server / seller training and certification in California. In order for licensees to be eligible to receive mitigated penalties, they must provide proof of successful completion of a certified California RBS training program by the involved server/seller at the time of the Notification of Violation interview. Such training must have been successfully completed prior to the date of violation(s) resulting in disciplinary action. This California alcohol server / seller training may also be required by local jurisdictions (counties and cities that have passed ordinances requiring server and seller training).

Food Safety for Handlers
The Rserving® Food Safety for Handlers Course can be used to obtain your food handler card in California. Upon completion of the course, you will receive a food handler certificate of completion from Rserving®. Notice to residents of Riverside, San Bernardino, and San Diego counties: This course does not meet the requirements in your county. A food handler card obtained from Rserving® will be valid everywhere in California (except these counties).
California Responsible Serving® of Alcohol
The Rserving® - Responsible Serving® of Alcohol course is a recognized California RBS training course. This course is for alcohol servers and sellers in California. RBS is an acronym that California uses for "Responsible Beverage Service".

In 2020, the new RBS Training Act will change the training requirements. As the new rules are written, all bartenders, servers and managers will have to take the new training (when it is approved).

For students that take our current training, we will provide "no charge" training for an updated course in 2020.

Details:
Sign up and take Rserving's training now and receive your certificate (which will be valid through 2020). Then, as soon as our new course has been approved by the California Department of Alcoholic Beverage Control, students can complete our updated training course at no additional charge to receive your RBS certification (valid for an additional 3 years). The new training will comply with the "RBS Training Program Act".

District of ColumbiaWashington DC Managing Responsible Servers
Rserving's Washington DC Responsible Serving® of Alcohol Course for Managers has been approved by the Alcoholic Beverage Regulation Administration (ABRA) for alcohol server / seller manager training and satisfies the licensing requirements for managers of Washington DC liquor licensed establishments. Managers of licensed alcohol retailers are required to complete Washington DC alcohol awareness manager training that has been approved by the district. You can complete this Washington DC approved online alcohol awareness training at your convenience and upon successful completion of the course, you can print a copy of your Washington DC Manager Trainig certificate right away. This Washington DC manager training certificate of accomplishment must be filed with the Alcoholic Beverage Regulation Administration.

While it is not mandated that all sellers and servers are trained in the District of Columbia, alcohol seller / server training is recommended. This DC seller training course is specifically designed for sellers and clerks working in an off-sale establishment.

Washington DC Responsible Serving®
Rserving's Washington DC Responsible Serving® of Alcohol Course has been approved by the Alcoholic Beverage Regulation Administration for alcohol server / seller certification and satisfies the licensing requirements.

While alcohol server and bartender certification is not required in the District of Columbia, it is recommended that all alcohol servers, sellers, and bartenders complete a Washington DC approved alcohol server / seller training and certification.

Rserving's online Louisiana Responsible Serving® of Alcohol course is approved for training in the Responsible Vendor Program by the Louisiana Office of Alcohol and Tobacco Control.

According to Louisiana law "any employee of a vendor who is authorized to sell or serve alcoholic beverages or tobacco products in the normal course of his or her employment or deals with customers who purchase or consume alcoholic beverages or tobacco products" must attend an RV Class and obtain an RV Server Permit within 45 days of their hire date.

This Louisiana state-approved online alcohol training course makes getting your Louisiana bar card simple and easy. Rserving® is a Louisiana state-approved online provider for obtaining your LA Server Permit. Just sign up for the online course, log in and complete the online course and exam. After you have successfully passed the exam, you will be able to print your temporary certificate. Rserving's Maine Responsible Serving® Course is a Maine Department of Public Safety Certified Training Program. It has been approved for Maine server / seller training in Maine and while this training is not required, it is evidence of responsible serving® practices and may be used as evidence that a server was not negligent or reckless. The Maryland alcohol server / seller course material can be completed online; however, you are required to complete a proctored test, which means you have to have someone supervise you while you take the test to validate your identity and verify that you complete the test without using any notes or reference materials. The proctor will charge you a fee of $25 to $35.

Approved proctors are located in Rockville, Temple Hills and Glen Burnie.

After you complete the Maryland alcohol server / seller course material online, you will be given the contact information for the approved proctor to schedule a time to take the test. The proctor will give you access to the test, which will take about half an hour. Oregon Liquor Control Commission Approved Training for Sellers & Clerks

Oregon Responsible Serving® of Alcohol
Oregon Liquor Control Commission Approved

To obtain an OLCC Service Permit in Oregon, just complete these two steps:
  1. Complete an OLCC approved server education training course. Click the Add to Cart button on the right to get started.

  2. Take the exam on the OLCC Alcohol Service Permit Portal and apply for an OLCC alcohol service permit using their web portal.

    This application must be completed prior to the first day that you mix, sell or serve alcohol and mailed to the OLCC by end of the next business day.
Upon successful completion of the course, you can take the exam on the OLCC web portal. Once you have passed the course and exam and your service permit application is processed, you can access and print your official OLCC alcohol service permit from the OLCC web portal.

WashingtonWashington Mandatory Alcohol Server Training
Rserving's Washington Responsible Serving® course is approved by the Washington State Liquor and Cannabis Board for online Mandatory Alcohol Server Training (MAST). Upon successful completion of this course and the final exam, each student will be mailed his or her official MAST permit (either Class 12 or Class 13). Washington State requires an official alcohol server / seller permit within 60 days of initial employment except employees conducting tasting events. To conduct tasting events, employees must hold a valid Class 12 MAST permit (no grace period).

If you are age 21 or over, you will receive a Class 12 permit and it allows you to draw alcohol from taps, mix drinks and/or manage a retail liquor licensed premises for on-premises consumption. You may also conduct alcohol tastings at a grocery store, winery, and farmer's market.

If you are between ages 18 and 21, you will receive a Class 13 permit which allows you to take alcohol orders, carry alcohol to customers and pour alcohol into a customer's glass at the customer's table in a liquor licensed establishment for on-premises consumption.
