AlabamaAL Off-Premises Responsible Serving®
The Alabama Alcoholic Beverage Control Board has approved PSCC as a Responsible Vendor Program (RVP) training provider. To get your license(s) certified in the Responsible Vendor Program, you will have to initially train all your employees, then submit your paperwork. After your license(s) is certified in the RVP, new employees must be trained within 30 days.

Signing up a company for PSCC's RVP is a simple process. Just add the employer account to your cart and pay the $95 set-up fee. For this set-up fee, PSCC will help you customize the course with your establishment policies and you can begin training your employees online for only $9.98 per employee. After all your employees are trained, PSCC will also assist you in submitting the required documentation to the Alabama ABC Board and send your policy sign posters in the mail.
AL On-Premises Responsible Serving®
The Alabama Alcoholic Beverage Control Board has approved PSCC as a Responsible Vendor Program (RVP) training provider. To get your license(s) certified in the Responsible Vendor Program, you will have to initially train all your employees, then submit your paperwork. How do I get an RBS certificate for California?

Rserving® is approved by the California Department of Alcoholic Beverage Control to provide the mandatory RBS training.
This online California RBS training meets the requirements of the Responsible Beverage Server Training Act, AB 1221.

To get an RBS alcohol server permit, register in the California RBS portal, complete an AB 1221 compliant RBS training course (like this one), and then take the RBS exam in the California RBS portal.

How long does it take to complete responsible beverage service (RBS) training?

What is California responsible beverage service (RBS) training?
The purpose of the California Responsible Serving® of Alcohol Course is to ensure servers of alcoholic beverages and their managers are educated on the dangers of serving alcohol to minors and over-serving alcohol to patrons with the intention of reducing alcohol-related harm to local communities.

Is RBS required in California & Who has to be RBS certified?
Beginning July 1, 2022, any on-premises alcoholic beverage server and their manager must have a valid RBS certification from an ABC accredited RBS training provider and pass an online ABC administered RBS exam within 60 calendar days from the first date of employment. This includes any person who checks ID, takes drink orders for alcoholic beverages, or delivers drinks to patrons (or a person who manages or supervises that person).

How long is California RBS certification good for?
Upon completing our course and passing the RBS exam through the California RBS portal, your California alcohol server certification will be valid for three years.

Are there any other fees?
Yes, the state of CA requires students to pay $3 for a final exam. The final exam is provided on the CA RBS website. Students are required to obtain an RBS number, and pay the $3 fee to the state.



Food Safety for Handlers
The Rserving® Food Safety for Handlers Course can be used to obtain your food handler card in California. Upon completion of the course, you will receive a food handler certificate of completion from Rserving®. Notice to residents of Riverside, San Bernardino, and San Diego counties: This course does not meet the requirements in your county. A food handler card obtained from Rserving® will be valid everywhere in California (except these counties).
ConnecticutResponsible Serving® of Alcohol
The PSCC Responsible Serving® Course is recommended training for the responsible serving® of alcohol in Connecticut. Check with your local jurisdiction for any additional requirements.
District of ColumbiaWashington DC Off-Premises Responsible Serving® of Alcohol
The Rserving® DC Responsible Serving® of Alcohol Course has been approved by the Alcoholic Beverage Regulation Administration and satisfies the licensing requirements. While it is not mandated that all sellers and servers are trained in the District of Columbia, alcohol seller / server training is recommended. This DC seller training course is specifically designed for sellers and clerks working in an off-sale establishment.

Washington DC Responsible Serving® of Alcohol
District of ColumbiaRserving's Washington DC Responsible Serving® of Alcohol Course has been approved by the Alcoholic Beverage Regulation Administration for alcohol server / seller certification and satisfies the licensing requirements.

While alcohol server and bartender certification is not required in the District of Columbia, it is recommended that all alcohol servers, sellers, and bartenders complete a Washington DC approved alcohol server / seller training and certification.

Washington DC Managing Responsible Alcohol Servers
Rserving's Washington DC Responsible Serving® of Alcohol Course for Managers has been approved by the Alcoholic Beverage Regulation Administration (ABRA) for alcohol server / seller manager training and satisfies the licensing requirements for managers of Washington DC liquor licensed establishments. Managers of licensed alcohol retailers are required to complete Washington DC alcohol awareness manager training that has been approved by the district. You can complete this Washington DC approved online alcohol awareness training at your convenience and upon successful completion of the course, you can print a copy of your Washington DC Manager Trainig certificate right away. This Washington DC manager training certificate of accomplishment must be filed with the Alcoholic Beverage Regulation Administration.

In addition to the DC laws regarding alcohol sales and service, alcohol's effect on the body, and how to recognize intoxication and refuse service to intoxicated or underage customers, this Washington DC approved online manager course will also teach you how to develop your own responsible company policies according to DC regulations, what topics you should cover in your policies (sample policies for both on-premises and off-premises establishments in Washington DC are included), how to perform a risk assessment of your establishment and provide active managerial control for risk factors identified, implementation of your company policies, how to monitor employee compliance with company policies, the importance of incident documentation for DC establishments, including what incidents should be documented and how to properly document an incident, and responsible marketing practices and alcohol promotion in DC. LouisianaLouisiana Responsible Serving® of Alcohol
Rserving's online Louisiana Responsible Serving® of Alcohol course is approved for training in the Responsible Vendor Program by the Louisiana Office of Alcohol and Tobacco Control.

According to Louisiana law "any employee of a vendor who is authorized to sell or serve alcoholic beverages or tobacco products in the normal course of his or her employment or deals with customers who purchase or consume alcoholic beverages or tobacco products" must attend an RV Class and obtain an RV Server Permit within 45 days of their hire date.

This Louisiana state-approved online alcohol training course makes getting your Louisiana bar card simple and easy. Rserving® is a Louisiana state-approved online provider for obtaining your LA Server Permit. Just sign up for the online course, log in and complete the online course and exam. After you have successfully passed the exam, you will be able to print your temporary certificate. You must go to the Louisiana Office of Alcohol and Tobacco website after the online course is completed to print your official Responsible Vendor Permit. Your official permit will be available on the ATC website within 7 to 10 days after you complete the online course. Your official Responsible Vendor Permit is valid for 4 years.

Rserving's Maine Responsible Serving® Course is a Maine Department of Public Safety Certified Training Program. It has been approved for Maine server / seller training in Maine and while this training is not required, it is evidence of responsible serving® practices and may be used as evidence that a server was not negligent or reckless. The proctor will charge you a fee of $25 to $35.

NebraskaRserving's Nebraska Responsible Serving® of Alcohol course is a Nebraska certified alcohol server / seller training program for the State of Nebraska. This certified online server / seller training program has been approved by the Nebraska Liquor Control Commission for training servers, bartenders, and sellers of alcohol the laws in Nebraska regarding alcohol sales. In some cases involving a violation of liquor laws, the State of Nebraska may require all servers, sellers and bartenders working at the establishment with the violation obtain this State of Nebraska approved bartending certification / server certification.

NevadaNevada Off-Premises Responsible Serving®
NevadaNOTICE: Nevada requires a proctor for the test at the end of the training. Unfortunately we have no proctoring locations at this time.

The Rserving® Responsible Serving® of alcohol course is an approved Nevada alcohol server / seller awareness training program and is valid across Nevada. To obtain an OLCC Service Permit in Oregon, just complete these two steps:

WashingtonWashington Mandatory Alcohol Server Training
Rserving's Washington Responsible Serving® course is approved by the Washington State Liquor and Cannabis Board for online Mandatory Alcohol Server Training (MAST). Upon successful completion of this course and the final exam, each student will be mailed his or her official MAST permit (either Class 12 or Class 13). Washington State requires an official alcohol server / seller permit within 60 days of initial employment except employees conducting tasting events. To conduct tasting events, employees must hold a valid Class 12 MAST permit (no grace period).

If you are age 21 or over, you will receive a Class 12 permit and it allows you to draw alcohol from taps, mix drinks and/or manage a retail liquor licensed premises for on-premises consumption. You may also conduct alcohol tastings at a grocery store, winery, and farmer's market.

If you are between ages 18 and 21, you will receive a Class 13 permit which allows you to take alcohol orders, carry alcohol to customers and pour alcohol into a customer's glass at the customer's table in a liquor licensed establishment for on-premises consumption.
