Rserving's Ohio Level One Certification in Food Protection is approved by the Ohio Department of Health. This course trains food handlers in safe food handling techniques and procedures and covers food sources, personal hygiene and handwashing, cross contamination, cleaning / sanitizing of equipment and utensils, and proper cooking, cooling, and holding of food as they relate to foodborne illness risk factors.
Ohio Level One Certification in Food Protection is required for at least one person in charge per shift at a food service operation or retail food establishment.
