To be successful at a waiter or waitress job, you have to be able to think fast and have a good memory. This takes practice, but being well organized and "together" is a must. Not only do servers have to deal with cranky customers, hot kitchens, and sore feet, they also have to have a positive attitude and the ability to juggle many tasks (and plates) at once.
